Big 12 To Host One – Maybe Two – ESPN College GameDay Broadcasts

ESPN College GameDay will be at Mizzou Arena before Phil Pressey and the Missouri Tigers battle Tyshawn Taylor and the Kansas Jayhawks on Feb. 4.

ESPN College GameDay will travel to Columbia, MO to broadcast before the February 4 match-up between the Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks. This will mark the first time in Mizzou's history that the basketball version of the show made popular by its football brother will be on campus.

The Jayhawks may also appear on the show twice this season, as the KU-Texas Longhorns game was chosen as a flex site for their March 3 match-up. ESPN will decide by February 25 whether they will travel to Lawrence or Durham, NC to cover the North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Duke Blue Devils rivalry.

If the KU-UT game is picked up, it will mark the fourth time since 2005 that ESPN College GameDay will visit two Big 12 locations. In all, Allen Fieldhouse has hosted the program on four previous occasions, while Mizzou joins KU, Baylor, K-State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas as hosts of the show.
