Big 12 NBA Draft History: With the 51st Overall Pick...

Best Big 12 Player Drafted #51: JamesOn Curry, Oklahoma St. Cowboys, by the Chicago Bulls in 2007.
Kids grow up dreaming of playing for even 1 second in the NBA. Well, JamesOn Curry nearly quadrupled his dream. On January 25, 2010, Curry got in for the final 3.9 seconds for the Los Angeles Clippers in a game against the Boston Celtics, and hasn't seen NBA hardwood since.

Other Notable Big 12 Players Drafted 51st: Corey Brewer, Oklahoma Sooners, by the Miami Heat in 1998.

Best Non-Big 12 Player Drafted 51st: Ashton Kutcher Kyle Korver, Creighton Bluejays, by the New Jersey Nets in 2003.
Let's see... this guy holds the NBA season record for highest three point shooting percentage at 53.6%. And he could probably get a slightly intoxicated Demi Moore to sleep with him. Yes.

In preparation for the 2011 NBA Draft, each day until June 23 we'll count down the best Big 12 player drafted with each pick. This list only takes into account players who played in the Big 12, so it starts with the 1997 draft. In total 70 Big 12 alumni have been selected, filling 43 of the 60 possible slots.
