Gunner Pool Draft Results

So we held out annual Gunner Draft tonight, and, a lot like our brackets before the tourney starts, everyone thinks they have the best squad.

Remember, since the only category that counts is points scored, in this type of draft you want a guy who will:

1. Score a lot of points
2. Play a lot of games

So having the sixth man on the championship team is many times better than having the highest scoring guy on a one-and-done team.

With that said, here's the first round.

6. Kyle Singler - Duke

And I guess fitting for someone who spends so much time on this site, I ended up with four Big 12 players: Jordan Hamilton, Jacob Pullen, Tyshawn Taylor and Gary Johnson. In total, 14 Big 12ers were taken.
