Honorable Mentions: Selection Sunday is going to be an absolute mess. Tweet from Andy Glockner: "The following BCS teams are 5-4 or .500 in league play: BC, VT, Md, Clem, Baylor, A&M, Mizzou, Cin, Marq, SJU, Ill, UGa, UK, Vandy, Miss St"

A little more stability in this week's top 25.  But the overall college basketball landscape is still totally up in the air.  Teams are just getting killed in conference play.  A couple of quick thoughts for the week.

  • I think Ohio State loses this week at Wisconsin.  The Badgers run the best offense in the country, and it's nearly impossible to win in Madison.  If they do get by Wisconsin, expect to see "undefeated" in a lot more articles.
  • San Diego State, BYU, Notre Dame, Georgetown and Connecticut are playing over their heads.  Don't be surprised if any of these teams collapses down the stretch, or if none make the second weekend of the tournament (especially Notre Dame).
  • North Carolina is for real...finally.  After disappointing fans and experts who picked them top ten in the preseason, the Tar Heels finally look like they've clicked.  Larry Drew II may have transferred at an inopportune time, but Kendall Marshall has been playing outstanding and Harrison Barnes is finally looking like the top prospect in the country.  Keep an eye out for the game at Duke this week.
