See, offices all over the country either resemble a ghost town, or the amount of long lunches and early exits outnumber those dutiful workers. In fact according to this 2007 article from Bloomberg.com employees either leaving early, checking scores online, filling out brackets instead of TPS reports and other tournament-related distractions "might cost U.S. employers more than $1.2 billion in lost productivity"
