SB Nation's College Basketball Power 16 - How I Voted

New, 2 comments

I am honored to be a voting member of the SB Nation College Basketball Power 16 hosted each week by Searching for Billy Edelin. Each Thursday morning college basketball bloggers throughout SB Nation weigh in on their weekly top 16.

My biggest question is how much to dock a team who is playing without their top players (i.e. Michigan St). I didn't dock Ohio St. when Evan Turner was out, so why would I dock MSU when Kalin Lucas wasn't playing.

There was lots of jockying amongst teams, but as a whole my Power 16 remained pretty much in tact with Gonzaga being the only newcomer of the week (BYU was the one that dropped). Former #2 Villanova had a tough week when they got snow plowed in DC (wakka, wakka, wakka) by Georgetown, but came back to win a toughie in Morgantown.

Breakdown by conference:
Big 10 - 4
Big East - 4
Big 12 - 3
SEC - 2
ACC - 1
MWC - 1
WCC - 1

Where do you think I went wrong?
