Big 12 NBA Player of the Week For Week 7 - Paul Pierce

Choosing the Big 12 NBA Player of the Week this week was pretty simple. Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce had about as good of a week as any Big 12er has had this season.

First there was his game winning shot to sink the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden (video below).

Then there was his triple-double on Sunday in a victory over the Indiana Pacers, registering 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

Finally there were his weekly averages of 23.5 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game, seven assists per game and 1.5 steals per game.

Add those together, along with Boston's wins over New York, Atlanta Hawks and Indiana, and you have yourself a no-questions-asked Player of the Week.
