It was a good week of basketball for former Big 12ers, with many leading teams and putting up impressive numbers. However at the end of the day, the inaugural Big 12 NBA Player of the Week is LaMarcus Aldridge.
Over the previous 7 days, Aldridge averaged 22.8 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game, 1.5 blocks per game, 1 assists per game and 1.3 steals per game.
The former Texas Longhorn, and current Portland Trail Blazer had big night against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, November 6, pouring in 22 points with 10 rebounds while shooting .500 from the floor and was 4 for 4 from the charity stripe.
ALdrdige also registered 22 points in a 017-106 loss to Oklahoma City on Thursday, November 4.
Congrats to LaMarcus, making the Big 12 look good in the Association.
