Currently in the Big 12 there are a grand total of 182 players listed on the 2010-2011 rosters from the schools official sports websites. These represent the total amount of players each school has chosen to list whether they are scholarship athletes or walk-ons.
Of that total there are players from 33 different states, Washington D.C. & ten different countries.
Before breaking down and showing where the players come from for each individual school there are a few interesting things of note to see when looking at roster breakdowns and where the kids come from..
It appears that Doc Sadler is apparently thinking about going with line shifts like in hockey since he has a listed roster of 20 players.
The country of Canada is supplying more players in the Big 12 this season than all but 4 states.
With 20 players listed Nebraska has the most while 3 schools only have 13 players listed on their websites.
Only 3 states had a double digit amount of players total in the Big 12: Texas, California & Kansas.
87 of the 182 players were from the 7 states where the Big 12 schools are located
Now onto the geographic breakdown of each teams roster.
