CBS' Jeff Goodman has the latest on the goings on in Tech's basketball program.

According to newly-minted Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby, the conference is almost done with their new TV contracts with ESPN/ABC and FOX that will give more exposure for not just football, but for men's basketball as well as the other Olympic sports.

USF guard Blake Nash didn't play much in 2011-12 but his freshman season at Williston State (22.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.5 apg) would suggest he has a whole lot more to offer. In addition to having two years of eligibility remaining, there's a chance he would be eligible to play this fall.

Monte Morris, an ESPN and Rivals 4-star point guard from Flint, Michigan, has verbally to the Cyclones. He is the second 4-star recruit Fred Hoiberg has reeled in the class of 2013. He's never been a head coach in his life, yet he continues to show everyone how it's done.
