I had been thinking that the most likely Big 12 finish was ...
a MU & KU tie. But the KSU upset of MIssouri in Columbia has changed the outlook considerably. I now think the most likely finish is KU wins the Big 12 outright. It would take a Missouri win in Lawrence to give Missouri a good shot at a tie and that just seems unlikely to me. It’s not that I think MU isn’t a very good team, they clearly are. It’s just that winning such a big game, complete with revenge motive and conference title on the line, against KU in AFH is a really tall order.
I think that the 2nd most likely outcome is now a KU & MU tie for the conference title, with MU having swept KU in the regular season. I still think this is pretty unlikely, but it now seems like the 2nd most likely outcome.
