Interesting that Matt has Mizzou in the championship game
Hopefully Mike Anderson is right about still having a run left in this team.

I hate making chalky picks.
And I think Mizzou in Kansas City has a strong shot to knock off Texas.
Big fan of ACC and Big 12 basketball.

They played well in their only other game in KC
a 1 pt win* against G-Town.
- OK they lost, but they should have won.

Mizzou?!
Everyone is so quick to write A&M off against a Missouri team that couldn’t beat a high school girls team on the road this year. I wouldn’t be so quick to write off the Aggies.

Well
probably some truth to your main argument there (not talking about the high school girls comment). My reasoning for picking Missouri is the game (if Mizzou makes it to play A&M ofcourse) will be on a “neutral” site in Kansas City not on the road and the crowd will be highly partisan towards Missouri. I honestly think Mark Turgeon deserves some coach of the year chatter with what he has done this season but I think Missouri has better athletes than A&M and the Aggies have been beatable in alot of games this season. Plus I think the Tigers will have a little more to play for with their recent struggles coming into the Big 12 tournament they are going to want to make a statement.

Partisan Crowds?
I’m not sure why everyone thinks a KC crowd is so partisan towards Mizzou. There are just as many ku and kst fans there who hate mizzou to root against them. Not that any of that stuff matters. As the great book, Scorecasting, says, home court advantage is just about refs making more favorable calls for the home team. Some schmoe eating Gates in a Mizzou jersey in Section 102 cheering for the Tigers won’t make any difference.

I wish I was that Schmoe
I love Gates.

I'd take Mizzou and the Over
in that HS girls game on the road. HS boys, now that’s another story.

Round 4: KU
I picked Tech just because of my previous comment (Missouri has too much on the line to lose to Tech.) I am also hoping CU pulls the upset to bring some excitement to the Denver area. Also, as much as I hate Texas, if they can straighten the ship they could breeze through this tournament.
