Oklahoma State Junior Darrell Williams Accused of Felony Rape

Oklahoma St. Cowboys forward Darrell Williams has been charged with a felony count of sexual battery and three felony counts of rape, according to multiple media outlets.

The Junior transfer from Midland College in Midland, TX was named Big 12 Rookie of the Week on Monday, hours before information on the accusations became public.

On the season Williams is averaging 7.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. During the past week Williams posted two double doubles in wins over the Missouri Tigers and in the Bedlam game against the Oklahoma Sooners netting 16.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.

Cowboys head coach Travis Ford was not on the Big 12 conference cal this morning, and assistant Chris Ferguson, who was representing Oklahoma State, said he was unaware fo the charges.

The Cowboys have the week off before playing in Lincoln against the Nebraska on Saturday, February 12.
