Denmon
Miguel doesn’t watch much non-conference basketball, unless it’s Mizzou. But, he cannot believe that another player in the league has been better than Marcus Denmon.
No Ejim for Rookie?
Has more ppg, rpg, pps, and more spg than Ratliffe… And is only a frosh instead of a junior…
To back up
Ejim: 12.7 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.53 pps, 1.5 steal/game
Ratliffe: 12.2ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.31 pps, .4 steal/game
Only area Ratliffe is better is blocks (1 vs. 0.2) and slightly better FG% (58% vs 56%).
I used the term Rookie of Year
to mean transfer. Probably should have been Tranfer of Year. Tristan was Frosh of Year.
ISU got two guys on the list… who would have thunk that at the beginning of the year???

True that
I definitley agree with Christopherson on there, as he’s playing crazy good. I kind of expect Jake Anderson to fall off more statistically. Don’t sleep on my man Ejim though! He’s the 4th option right now, but maybe the most efficient player Iowa State has. If he becomes a bigger part of the offensive gameplan, his numbers could go up more. It may not happen all this year, but in another year or two, he’s going to be an All Big 12 player for sure.
Honestly, I thought Christopherson should have been 2nd team.
He has been ridiculous so far.
I can see him being 3rd team
but wouldn’t have been surprised to see Christopherson over Pullen on 2nd. Crazy huh that a Freaking Preseason All American could fall down to 3rd team conference

Ejim or Thompson
Two Brampton boys up for rookie of the half-year in the Big 12. Who would have thought.
Denmon is a beast, plain & simple.
Haven’t seen any Hamilton highlights on the four lettered network, but have seen plenty of Denmon’s.

Denmon is POY 1b.
No doubt the kid is amazing… and about as cool under pressure as anyone around.

Jacob Pullen is the reason
Pre-Season AA teams are a joke.
He went from pre-season AA to 2nd team Big 12 in 3 months. Just another another reason why naming guys “pre-season” anything is dumb.
