Texas Dominates Texas A&M, Wins 69-49

I think we know who the cream of the Big 12 crop is...

In the past nine days the Texas Longhorns have defeated all three of the other ranked conference schools, winning by double digits against the Kansas Jayhawks, Missouri Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies.

Tonight was, well, total domination by the Longhorns.  Like they did against Mizzou, and like they came back against KU, the Horns got out to a double digit lead early, going into half up 25.

Jordan Hamilton led UT in scoring with 20. Tristan Thompson was the only other Longhorn to score in double digits, registering 10 points. The Horns toned it down in the second half, cruising to the easy 69-49 victory.

B.J. Holmes led the Aggies with 19 points. Leading scorer Khris Middleton was held scoreless on 0-7 shooting.

In pursuit of conference perfection, Texas doesn't play another ranked team for the rest of the regular season. Their toughest games might be in Boulder on February 26 or in Waco in the last game of the season.

They look like a final four type of team to me.

Teams just don’t come into Reed and dismantle A&M like that. And yeah, they may not lose another game at least until the Big 12 tournament. Very impressive.

Here's hoping we don't let off the gas

The competition may take a dip but hopefully we’re not peaking early and can keep steamrolling this thing.. should be interesting!

I wish I could play little league now... I'd kick some fuckin' ass.

Find it hard to believe

that they won’t drop one along the way, not sure where but guessing it happens. One of those road games where opposing team is hot from deep. As for last nights game, dang I thought they would win but didn’t expect a what 25 point halftime lead on the road at A&M, thats crazy

WOW is right

As of Feb 1 they are the best team in the country. No debate.

I’d love to see Tristan on Ohio State’s Sullinger. How great of a one on one would that be?
