Wally Judge Leaves Kansas State Basketball Team
Kansas St. Wildcats sophomore Wally Judge has left the team, coach Frank Martin said in his Monday afternoon press conference. Judge was a five-star recruit and the 18th overall player in the Rivals.com Class of 2009.
During the scheduled presser, Martin stated "Wally quit the team today. He's not happy. I kinda saw it coming because of some of this emotional situations. He just has not been enjoying it. He told me today that he thinks it is time for a change."
The Washington, DC native never quite lived up to his high school hype, averaging 3.3 points and three rebounds per game during his rookie campaign for K-State and 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season.
Judge did not play in consecutive games against Texas Tech and Missouri earlier in January and played one minute a piece in the following two conference games. On Saturday he logged 17 minutes, scoring five points on 1-7 shooting, in the loss to Nebraska
There is no indication on whether Judge has dropped out of classes or where he might end up.

I know he was not a major contributor but this is the final shovel of dirt on the KSU season in my opinion.
Agreed
So two guys have quit and their senior leader said he wouldn’t play int eh NIT? Have the wheels ever fallen off.

Does Martin come back next year? The attitude of the team has been terrible and as you mentioned, two players have quit. The results have been there but its clear Martin has little control over the team this year.
Martin is 100% back next year
He was in the Elite Eight last year and has made NCAA Tournament in 2 of 3 years there as head coach. Rick Barnes had a disastrous season last year and look where UT is this year. I am not predicting that for K-State but too early to be asking if he should be gone after this year. Frank has the contract, the kids come & go.

Not to mention, K-State did put up with Wooldridge for 6 seasons.
Guessing they can give Frank some time to get it going again.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball...Rock Chalk Talk
Unless something dramatic happens
like an NCAA investigation or something he is back.
