Six should be easy victories on the Big 12 schedule tonight as teams get their final tune-ups in before league play begins. Even though the games look to be easy victories on paper there are some interesting subplots within them.
How will Oklahoma look against a team they should be beat?
Can Texas Tech also get a victory and start to get some momentum?
How will Jacob Pullen look in his return from suspension?
Will Oklahoma State respond positively from their beating at the hands of Gonzaga?
These are just some of the questions that will be answered by around 10 P.M. or so when all these games have wrapped up.
Below is the list of games and there start times. All times listed are Central Time.
Nicholls State @ Texas A&M (7 P.M) - Would be shocked if this game is close. Look for Khris Middleton to have a big game.
Maryland Eastern Shore @ Oklahoma (7 P.M.) - If the Sooners can't win this one then Jeff Capel's program is in serious trouble.
University Texas-San Antonio @ Oklahoma State (7 P.M.) - Look for the Cowboys to put together a better team effort here than they did on New Year's Eve. Keiton Page and Matt Pilgrim need to improve their play.
North Dakota @ Nebraska (7 P.M.) - Not much to see here, Cornhuskers should roll again against inferior competition.
Savannah State @ Kansas State (7 P.M. Fox Sports Kansas City) - The return of Jacob Pullen to the team. Does he start or does Frank Martin ease him back in?
Northern Illinois @ Iowa State (7 P.M.) - While Iowa State has proven itself to be a better team than most expected, wins still cannot be assumed yet.
