Mizzou, KU Five-Star Recruit Ben McLemore to Appear on ESPNU on Saturday
Five-star recruit Ben McLemore will appear on ESPN on January 15 as Oak Hill
(VA) takes on Milton (GA) during the Spaulding Hoop Hall Classic in Springfield, Mass.
The highly sought after recruit has narrowed his choices to Big 12 rivals, Missouri Tigers and Kansas Jayhawks and has caused a lot of excitement within the two fanbases. Though fans may have seen McLemore in the stands during the Mizzou-Old Dominion and KU-Miami (OH) games, this might be the first time a lot of people will actually see what he looks like on the court.
The matchup of the two high school powers will feature a total of TEN players ranked in the Rivals 150 for either the 2011 or 2012 classes.
Besides McLemore, Oak Hill will showcase Duke signee Quin Cook and Arizona signee Sidiki Johnson as part of the class of 2011 and undecided juniors Damien Wilson, Jordan Adams.
Milton will dress future Vanderbilt Commodore Dai-Jon Parker, future Ohio State Buckeye Shannon Scott and future Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Julian Royal. Juniors on Milton include four-star Evan Nolte and three-star Shaquille Johnson.
The game will tip off January 15 at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPNU and will be the first of two times McLemore and Oak Hill will be featured on the World Wide Leader.
[Ed. Note: As pointed out by Walshdollar, the game has been moved to ESPNU (or I misread the initial announcement)]

Im pretty sure its gonna be on ESPNU
Should be a fun game to watch. It’s way more interesting to watch a full game of a recruit than a highlight tape
Hmmmm, looks like you're right
ESPNU. Either they changed it (blame on them) or I misread (blame on me). Must’ve been that they changed it!
ESPNU it is. Accoriding to the site, their second game is on the Duece.
I’ll change the headline… thanks

ESPNU...
Good thing everyone has ESPNU by now. Otherwise, some people would be upset about missing this…

He's going to KU
Not sure what all the suspense is about. I mean, as a Tiger fan, (hopefully) we can sneak Otto Porter in, and just move on to our next “big-haul” class. That is, of course, assuming big money doesn’t come knocking down CMA’s door, again, with like 5 guys graduating, he would certainly be much less tied to this program.
Sigh.
Bet me!
Just to clarify...
only one senior on Mizzou’s squad this year, and you are talking about the guys graduating after NEXT season. (English, Denmon, Bowers, Moore, Big Pressey, Ratliffe…Sutton)

Yeah, Evan...
Apparently things like “math” and “years” and the ability to assemble thoughts coherently somehow never stuck during school. Whoops. :)
Porter = replacing Safford
Hopefully bigger class, hopefully CMA still coaching = replacing that huge mess of names (and talent) you listed
Bet me!

well with john underwood transferring, we'll have two spots open for this class
mclemore and porter would be nice…and the longer this drags on, the whole “for sure kansas” thing looks less and less plausible.
capital letters suck.
I'd bet he ends up in Lawrence
His mom does love Mizzou, though. It looks like it will drag out until spring.
