ESPN: Colorado's Bzdelik to take Wake job

PrintColorado coach Jeff Bzdelik has called a team meeting for Sunday afternoon, at which he intends to tell the team he is leaving to be the coach at Wake Forest, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.

Surprises me
I know CU isn’t a hotbed for hoops. But with Higgins and Burks coming back, you’d think Bz would stick around.
Plus having coached in Colorado for the better part of 10 years with the Nuggets, Air Force and now CU, I’d think he wouldn’t move away from teh region.
Better job at Wake, for sure… but still a head scratcher.
So if Bzdelik bolts...
Does Higgins or Burks follow him?
Does Higgins at least test NBA waters?
If CU loses those too, say hello to the cellar again Buffs.

usually when you go 36-58, you get fired…not a job in the ACC.
