Only two Big 12 games on the schedule today and it would be fair to say neither is going to catch the attention of the national television audience. That being said, both Iowa State and Colorado should be able to use these games to help them work on some things to get shored up before conference play arrives.
** Games times are Central **
Dartmouth @ Iowa State (1 P.M.) - This one on paper looks to be a cakewalk for Fred Hoiberg and company. The Big Green come in with a 3-6 record and included in that was a 35 point loss to Providence while Iowa State enters with a 7-2 record. This game should not be close but one reason to watch is to see how many three pointers Scott Christopherson can take and make in this one. Early start time in this one which sometimes leads to sluggish play early.
Longwood @ Colorado (2 P.M.) - Another early tip time but yet again a contest that should be over sooner rather than later. The Lancers come in with a 3-9 record and many of those have been of the blowout variety. Cory Higgins and Alec Burks should be able to score at will in this one. Unfortunately for the Buffs, this game is probably just a blip on the radar in the State of Colorado with Tim Tebow slated to get his first start for the Broncos.
