Just an unbelievable slate of games taking place across the Big 12 today along with some intriguing storylines. All ranked Big 12 squads are in action today with some big name opponents on the schedule such as North Carolina, Gonzaga & Florida. It should be a fun day to grab a soda or an adult beverage and tell your wife or significant other to go do the Christmas shopping because you have a good reason to not leave the couch or chair today.

USC @ (3) Kansas (11 A.M. ESPN) - The Trojans travel in to be the sacrificial lamb today in Lawrence as Allen Fieldhouse should be plain crazy even at 11 A.M. as Josh Selby makes his first appearance. Expect this game to get out of control early.
(25) Texas A&M vs Arkansas (1 P.M., ESPN2) - This game will be played in the American Airlines Arena in Dallas as part of "The Showcase". This represents the first chance for A&M to prove their newfound Top 25 ranking. Razorbacks come in with a 7-1 record but have yet to face a ranked opponent. A good game for each squad to see where they might be at this season.
(6) Kansas State vs (24) Florida (2:30 Fox Sports KC) - See full preview here
(25) Texas vs. North Carolina (3 P.M. CBS) - See full preview here.
(9) Baylor vs. Gonzaga (3:30 ESPN2) - See full preview here.
Oklahoma State vs Alabama (5:30 P.M. ESPN2) - This game will be played in Oklahoma City as part of the Lane Furniture All-College Classic. This game gives OSU a chance to beat a name opponent even though the Crimson Tide are only 5-5 on the season.
Eastern Washington @ Nebraska (6 P.M.) - The Cornhuskers should get another easy victory today at home. Not much of a preview really needs to be done on this game as it shouldn't be close.
Central Arkansas @ (12) Missouri (7 P.M.) - Another game that should not be close at all in the Big 12 today. The highlight of attending this game might be a chance to see "The Big Nasty" Corliss Williamson who now coaches at Central Arkansas.
Texas Tech @ UTEP (8 P.M. CBS College Sports) - Well does the freefall continue for the Red Raiders? UTEP is a good team, entering with a 7-2 record with one of those wins against Michigan so Tech will have their hands full. The best player on the floor will probably be for UTEP as Randy Culpepper averages 19.2 points a game. Would be a HUGE win for Pat Knight if the Red Raiders could pull this one out but guess is Tech fails to secure their first road win of the season.
Oklahoma vs. Cincinnati (8 P.M. ESPNU) - This game represents the second portion of the Lane Furniture All-College Classic from Oklahoma City. The Bearcats come in with a gaudy 9-0 record but a look at their schedule shows they have not played anyone who would be considered a strong challenge. The Sooners look to beat a name team and move their record to 6-5.
