The Big XII conference has won the final Big 12 / Pac-10 Hardwood Series, securing the series victory with a dramatic Texas A&M Aggies victory over visiting Washington Huskies 63-62. In the series, the Big 12 got out to an early 4-0 lead before the Pac-10 won two of three last Saturday, then swept last Sunday's two games to close the gap at 6-4. The Pac-10 would have needed to win Saturday's Huskies-Aggies game, plus the final game of the series ten days from now to tie the series.

Overall, with one game to go, the Big 12 went 2-1-1 in the four year series, while winning 27 of 47 games.

The series will not continue next year.
