The Associated Press has learned that Baylor guard LaceDarius Dunn will remain suspended for the first three games of the regular season and then be eligible to rejoin the 16th-ranked Bears.

This seems like an appropriate punishment based on the facts we have on the case. While it is only 3 games that counts, the punishment fits the trouble. Good news for Baylor, for sure.

and even college football to a lesser degree, allows for suspensions at the start of a season that generally dont affect the team. Like Wiile said, it will mostly be fodder for opposing fans.
