Baylor's Tweety Carter Interviewed by FOXSportsSouthwest.com
Not many people were high on Baylor in the preseason. Did this year’s team feel like it had something to prove after the loss of seniors like Henry Dugat, Kevin Rogers, and Curtis Jerrells?
Most definitely, because a lot of people thought we weren’t going to have anything after those guys left. Those guys played a big role in our team last year, so I don’t blame them. But we’ve got a team full of guys that are going to play together and play hard for 40 minutes and leave it all on the floor. With the guys that we have this year, me, Lace [LaceDarius Dunn], Josh Lomers, and Ekpe Udoh who transferred, we just wanted to come in and show the young guys some things they needed to know. The young guys did a great job of paying attention and wanting to get better and learn about the Big XII.
