Cowboys gain commitment from four-star recruit Michael Cobbins

Michael Cobbins, a 6-foot-9 power forward and OSU’s lone recruiting visitor for the weekend, gave the Cowboys his pledge before leaving Stillwater.

A four-star rated recruit and the No. 51 prospect overall by Scout.com, Cobbins is a senior at Palo Duro High in Amarillo, Texas.

"I was looking at the style of play and it’s similar to what we play now," Cobbins told the web site. "Once you get the rebound you go, and that’s how we play in high school right now."
