Should Pitino Be Fired [Or Resign]?
In light of his "indiscretions", should Pitino be fired/resign from his post as HC at Louisville?

I think it's the University of Louisville's decision on whether or not to fire him.
If it violates his contract, they’ll deal with it. But I’d bet it would be hard to fire the head basketball coach for this when they probably wouldn’t fire the cafeteria manager for the same thing.

His contact does have a moral clause. I wonder, if this were, say Gregg McDermott, would the coach be fired? I think so.

has this happened before?
Why would someone have a moral clause in their contract if something hasn’t happened? Is it common practice? Either way, I don’t think having an affair should be grounds for dismissal.
