ESPN: Nebraska's Coleman plans to transfer
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska coach Doc Sadler says freshman Adrien Coleman is leaving the team.
Sadler said Monday that Coleman plans to transfer to another school. The coach gave no reason.
Coleman appeared in six of the Huskers' 12 games and averaged under 3 points.
Coleman was one of the top high school players in Georgia at Stone Mountain Stephenson, averaging better than 28 points a game as a senior in 2007-08.
He originally signed with Alabama-Birmingham in November 2008, but didn't meet school academic requirements.
