Tipoff — 6:00 p.m. CSTLUBBOCK, Texas – Coach Pat Knight and the Texas Tech Red Raiders tip-off the 2009-2010 season this Friday, November 13th against South Dakota at 6:00 pm at the United Spirit Arena.
It’s veteran, military personnel, and first responder appreciation night so come out and help Texas Tech Athletics honor these very special guests.

With the exhibition win on Saturday, Oklahoma State is now 45-4 all-time in exhibition contests ... OSU enters the 2009-10 season having won its last 16 home games against non-conference opponents. That streak ranks as the fifth-longest in school history, and the Cowboys need to win their first three games for the string to move into the fourth spot ... OSU is entering its 101st season of collegiate basketball and has compiled a 1,475-1,030 mark ... all seven newcomers played in Saturday night’s game.
