Five Questions For... Big 12 basketball

In a recurring piece leading up to the start of the basketball season, we examined the top 5 questions surrounding each Big 12 basketball team.

In this final segment we will look at the top 5 questions for the conference as a whole.

1)       With top heavy expectations, can either Kansas or Texas bring a national championship to the league offices in Irving, Texas?

2)       With a projected jumble of teams in the mix for the 3rd through 8th spots,  which two teams will emerge to secure first round byes in the conference tournament?

3)       Between Craig Brackins, Willie Warren, Sherron Collins, Cole Aldrich, Damion James, Denis Clemente and James Anderson, who will emerge as the Big 12's best?

4)       Between Avery Bradley, Xavier Henry, Aaron-Mike Davis, Tommy Mason-Griffin, Jordan Hamilton or another, who will emerge as the conference's top freshman?

5)       Who is this year's Mizzou, aka an unexpected surprise?
