YAY! Hypothetical Scenarios!
If the college basketball season ended today, 7 Big 12 schools would be in the NCAA Tournament, according to ESPN resident "Bracketologist" Joe Lunardi.
(Granted, if the college basketball season ended today it would be the shortest season on record.)
Of the 65 teams Lunardi tabs for a March date with destiny, Kansas and Texas both secure top seeds. Oklahoma gets the upset special 5/12 matchup, K State and Texas A&M are slotted as 7 seeds, Oklahoma St get the always tricky to predict 8/9 pairing and Mizzou gets the last Big 12 slot with a 10 seed.
Fans of these teams, might as well book your tickets today. These predictions are as good as gold.

What a Day
Steal of the recruiting season, a Mike Dixon article in the P-D and the #10 seed already? Who needs football?
This is why I hate preseason predictions

Exactly. Nobody’s not yet played nobody. Why is this preseason stuff out already? The only thing right about the BCS and it’s standings is that it doesn’t start until halfway through the season.
