According to police, the hoops squad twice fought with football players twice in a 12-hour span. 3. Brady Morningstar, a junior, got a DWI and was suspended from the hoops’ team for the first semester. 4. Markieff Morris, a sophomore, got in a car accident, and that actually wasn’t the news that raised eyebrows. The car he was driving was registered to former Jayhawk Scot Pollard. "Everything is legal. It is not a compliance issue," KU Associate Athletics Director for External Relations Jim Marchiony said.
