Rosters Set for Mizzou's Black and Gold Game

Prep for the big homecoming football game against Texas the following day by catching the Tigers take on the Tigers for only $5 (or free with Student ID) this Friday in the annual Black & Gold game.

With players watching on, honorary coaches MO Governor Jay Nixon and UM System President Gary Forsee selected the teams Tuesday after practice at Mizzou Arena.

Their selections:

Black Squad

I agree – I picked the Black, too based on Kimmie playing on that side.

Speaking of Kimmie, I think you can get in free for a canned good. This is from his Twitter account (@Englishscope) from a couple of days ago: Free admission with Mizz student ID.. Free admission with a canned good, for the Missouri food bnk. $5 for every1 else. Fri @ 8 mizzou arena

@Englishscope is a must read for any Mizzou fan! Great insight and fascinating look into the life of a student-athlete.

As for the canned food for admission. I haven’t seen anything official, and also just looked on MUtigers.com and didn’t find anything. If I hear anything, I’llpost it.

If anyone hears anything, post here also so we can spread the word.
